A Little More About Me

I graduated from Middlesex University with a BSc (hons) Herbal Medicine in 2008 and began herbal practice in 2009. I have worked as a medical herbalist and therapy facilitator since 2010 and from 2013 to 2016 I also worked as a herbal dispenser for Middlesex University's training clinic where I had the joy of supporting the herbal training of Western, Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic Herbal students in learning the art and science of herbal dispensing.

I first trained in Jikiden Reiki (Shoden) back in 2012 and have used it in my practice ever since. I went back for a refresher in 2023 and decided in 2024 to add Okuden level to my qualifications so I am now able to support clients further with Jikiden Reiki treatments.

In my other therapeutic work I have been practicing vibrational and energy therapies for over 20 years. Over those years I have built upon my initial vibrational therapy certification, adding energy therapies and feminine centered therapies to my practice.

While as a Medical Herbalist I don't specialise in particular area, I have an interest in the journey of my female patients throughout the different stages of womanhood as I've spent several years journeying with feminine centered healing modalities. I offer women's wellbeing consultations and feminine centered wellbeing therapies to provide additional support for female patients on their unique journeys.

Outside of my therapeutic practice, I have an MA in Novel Writing and I am working towards a PhD in Creative Writing. I am a published author, have been a guest lecturer and I am passionate about the potential for creative writing to support neurodiversity, inclusivity and trauma informed practices as well as the importance of creativity for overall wellbeing.
